Welcome to Simple Workout!

I’d like to formally welcome you to Simple Workout. I look forward to sharing workout and diet tips you can put to work easily and immediately. My goal is to keep it clear and simple, while making sure it’s solid advice grounded in exercise science and good nutrition.

Let me give you a little background: I’ve got another site called Tao of Bachelorhood, a men’s lifestyle blog where I discuss fitness and nutrition as well as a number of other topics of interest to men. There I created the Simple Starter Workout, a workout plan for anyone new to fitness. It’s been extremely popular—actually the most-read content on the blog. I’ll be going over it here shortly.

However, I realized that I was excluding not only women, but anyone who might not think a site called Tao of Bachelorhood was for them. (Really, 80% of the stuff there is for every man, and about half could be used by almost anyone.) So my mission was to start another blog, where I could offer really to-the-point fitness and diet advice in a place everyone can feel comfortable.
